Panic starts
A pointless screech
A silver blade
A flurry of wingbeats

A knight and a dragon
Due to fight
Even though their causes
Are not at all right

A knight and a dragon,
Who will win?
A quest for a higher rank
Or a quest to defend?

A puff of fire
Comes from the cave
The brave - or foolish - knight
Draws his blade

Out of the cave comes the dragon.
The knight gives his sword a swing!
Dragonscale vs metal
And a painful ringing

A knight and a dragon,
forever to fight,
Although
Neither
Of
Their
Causes
Is right.
